BACKSTORY

“Red House”

Recorded by Jimi Hendrix in 1966

“There's a red house over yonder, that's where my baby stays
I ain't been home to see my baby in ninety nine and one half days”

Half Days Red Ale returns to Richbrau, reimagined as a craft beer classic, the hoppy red ale. In the glass, this beer pours with a clear, dark ruby amber with off-white foam that truly shines when it catches the light. On the nose, toasty and caramel malt aromas meld with subtle, sweet melon, citrus, herbs, and pine notes from the hops. The complexity continues in the sip as malt and hop flavors combine for an interesting, full-flavored beer. With firm bitterness, Half Days drinks like a pale ale or ESB but with more intense flavors across the board. A medium-light body and moderate carbonation helps give the beer a snappy, crisp finish that's perfect for any time of year.
